"Women are meant to be loved, not understood" - O. Wilde
Not a big fan too but somehow I use it. I guess as long as you don't literally say it IRL.
Oh, but what if it's SAID instead of typed? That's way better, right?
lol i know lol
i love lol....it is halarious. we like to read emails from my sister and then laugh at how much she uses lol (she knows, we told her) because its just halarious to imagine her laughing out loud through a whole 7 paragraph email. :) lol (seriously)
I am staunchly opposed to "lol" and prefer instead to use "hahaha", if it is quite funny, I will add a :) after the "hahaha"I agree, "lol" just seems flip. And if someone has to SAY "lol" rather than simply laughing, clearly they have failed to see the true levity of the situation! hahahaha :)
I have to admit that I secretly judge people who use "lol" too often and think there's something wrong with how they were taught to communicate. I don't often find myself hating words and/or abbreviations that often but "lol" is deeeefinitely one that I make an exception for.
