The power of a clean car

You know what’s attractive? A guy with a clean car.

It does not have to be big or expensive or shiny or fast, but clean? It has to be clean. Clean makes you seem to have things together just a bit more. [And I’m not talking about washing your car once a week *cough* Jeff *cough* that would make me a hypocrite, I am just talking about keeping it tidy]

There are few things that turn me off more than getting ready to jump into a guys car and suddenly having to worry about that filthy mess penetrating my immune system.

If a guys car is a mess, that just puts up further obstacles. I am rethinking how close I want to get to him throughout the evening because I now question his personal hygiene. And even more than that I am suddenly uncertain about ever wanting to see where he lives – if his CAR is this dirty…imagine what his apartment looks like. I might never make it out alive!

Seriously, we’ll smile and pretend everything is fine, but inside we’re dying. Clean your car.

I completely agree. I've got a friend whose car is a pit, and every time I get in I have to move handfuls of trash. Yuck!

Agree, I met some guys with dirty cars. Piles of books and shirts and shorts everywhere. Sometimes lots of cd's invading seats from front seats to the back. Ew!

Actually women are attracted to men who have the opposite immune system as them (it prevents inbreeding). So if getting in his car makes you sick that is a good thing.

There are certain people who's cars I will not ride in because its gross. A clean car is probably more important than a clean desk.

Also, I know you're probably talking about a different Jeff, but I do wash my car once a week.

Of jeff...don't flatter yourself with thinking I could have forgotten so quickly - I am STILL in shock from when I found out you wash your car once a week. So, yes, that *cough* was referring to you :-)

OH I hear ya, and also, clean your apartment. Nothing is worse than walking into a guy's urine smelling bathroom, with no toilet paper. GROSS!

Btw, tagged you on my blog.

Well I clean the interior, but hardly ever see the need to wash the outside. Dirty inside... no thanks. I don't need or want to stick my feet in McDonalds trash.

how about someone who lives in the city and owns no car, but takes public transit and/or a bicycle?
