Awkward situation

#6: Staying at your boyfriends house for the weekend. He gives you his bed while he takes the couch – you get your period and it leaks all over his bed. [thank you to a reader of mine for submitting this awkward moment].

I don't think this awkward moment really needs any commentary. It really would be quite miserable for both parties involved.

Better luck with your timing next go-around.

i think it was better: staying at boyfriend's house for the weekend. he breaks up with you the day before you leave. he gives you his bed for your last night there. you have your period all over it.

i'm hard-pressed to think of anything more horrendous.

One of my good friends in High school had this happen to him, except that it was his cousin.

Well, when he moves into a bad neighborhood and is moving his stuff in broad daylight, I don't think anyone will think about robbing him. It works better if you move a box labeled "knives" right after it. A big box.

Awkward situation:

In college I was staying in a youth hostel in France. I get my period the morning I am leaving to catch my flight. Noticing the bedsheets I've slept in are not clean I very awkwardly convince a stranger to wash them for me. As I'm leaving the room I realize that another hosteler is moving to take my bed. I tell him he can't have it. He says, "aren't you leaving?" I say, "yes, but you know, the uh sheets are not clean." He says, "I could care less. I had no sleep last night and all I want to do is go to sleep." Which is when I had to confess to the second stranger that morning about my accident.
