Attractive man slipped through my fingers

I saw one of the most attractive men I have ever seen in my life this last Sunday. While I was eating a burger (in a really dainty way) he walked by outside the restaurant window. I caught his eye and didn’t let it go cause I was trying to make a point “yeah, that’s right, I think you’re hot, you can come in here and talk to me.”

He didn’t really come in, but he DID walk by again 6 more times.

Had I been more witty in the moment I would have gotten up, gone outside and said: "Excuse me, you either find me very attractive or you are really lost – I can help you with either of those things."

But instead I let him just walk away…next time.

Here's my advice...go back to the same burger joint and see if he does the same!! Here's my question...is it possible to eat a burger in a dainty way?

Man, isn't that how it always happens... You think of the JUUUST right thing to say AFTER you could have used it.

I think you should go back to that place next Sunday, sit at the same table and wait for him. If he shows up again, it's TRUE LOVE!

(GAG! Listen to me!? WTF? Are we in a Meg Ryan film??)

But you know, if he didn't show up, you could eat a tasty burger again... You know... delicately...

He probably felt the same way but was too shy to come in and talk to you. SIGHLook at it from his perspective, it takes some balls to come in to a restaurant and talk to a woman when (a) he doesn't already know you and (b) he isn't planning to stay and eat.

Many cities have free tabloid newspapers with a section on "you caught my eye." It's a long shot, but you never know...

Sorry about that, I am wishing now that I would have stopped in and said "Hi"
