Do you ever wonder if boys weekends away are anything like girls? My bet is no. I don’t think they gossip and giggle and talk about girls as much as we girls gossip and giggle and talk about boys. But I also don’t think they’re as apathetic as we think – I just think it looks different. Sometimes I’d like to be a fly on the wall, and then I decide, WHY would I do that to myself? Some things are better left a mystery…

because i'm "one of the guys" (whatever that means) i was invited to a guys weekend up north. It was probably the most awkward thing ever...they talk about girls quite a bit and it gets real personal, real fast. So...I suggest for your own benefit...leave it a mystery. It'll help ya sleep better :)
It looks like JD has a huge eagle tat on his arm...
that is man talk, not boy talk.
i think you should do a "one of the guys" blog...it is starting to drive me nuts.
us guys really aren't all that mysterious. our getaways typically include:
* fire
* things scavenged to throw in the fire
* someone(s) inevitably peeing in the fire
* someone(s) who still thinks bodily gases are funny
* personal indulgences - anything from beer and smokes to tents and kayaks
* as marieeee noted, much talk about girls...
- single guys talk about "how hot [so and so] is..." (half local, the half celebs)
- married guys talk about married stuff (i.e. sex, kids, other stuff, sex)
* and the best part is definitely the getting personal. a lot of us aren't very good at doing this regularly. so when you get away and have the excuse and time to get past the fire and beer and urination and bodily gases, it gets really personal. the are some of my favorite moments in life.
